About Katherine Josselyn Katherine Josselyn has been creating artwork since she was old enough to hold a crayon in her tiny hands. She has always had a passion for drawing and painting and it has been said that the colors she uses in her work create a feeling of warmth that can steam up any cold space. She studied art all through her high school years and then received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University in 1999. Katherine spent a semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy and traveled through Europe drawing inspiration from the brilliant colors, breath-taking scenery and wonderful stories of Europes flourishing past. Her subjects usually includes curvacious, female figures, or beautiful open flowers and some of her work has often been compared to that of Georgie O'Keefe. From realistic portraits to expressive or abstract images, Katherine Josselyn's use of warm colors, as well as tantilizing shapes and textures, create an experience for the sences that will enliven any spirit!
